How do I know if Inner Child healing is right for me?
If you find yourself experiencing intense emotions that don't seem to match the intensity of the situation, or you always have mixed feelings about situations you are prime candidate for inner child healing work.
We will examine the parts of you that are bringing forward those emotions and work to understand and love them so the intensity can be managed.
What is Inner Child Healing
My work is primarily based on Internal Family Systems by Richard Schwartz.
During our lifetime, and especially when we are children, we will experience trauma. If the emotions surrounding that trauma are not processed, they get frozen in our body as a memory or pattern which becomes an identity. Within ourselves we can have many identities that are all vying for attention and control of your actions.
Through learning to identify and relate lovingly to these identities we can release these emotions and heal the trauma which in turns leads to behavior changes within yourself in the present day.
What is different about your approach?
I approach each client as a blank slate. We will work together to figure out exactly what YOU need, not what the textbook says you need.
I believe we all have an innate wisdom and intuition within ourselves and the capacity to heal. We will work to access your wisdom and intuition and you will heal yourself with my gentle guidance.
I also bring a highly spiritual aspect to this work and we can review if Soul Medicine, angels or shamanic energy practices are right for you during your sessions.
How long do sessions last?
Typically sessions are 1 hour, however I always leave extra time in between clients so we can run longer than 1 hour if you need more time.
How many sessions do I need?
I wish I could tell you! We are all different, and the amount of sessions required depends on the type of therapy or spiritual healing work you have done previously, the depth of your trauma, your childhood and upbringing and many other factors.
Truth be told the healing never stops, this journey lasts a lifetime. And even when healed, sometimes our old patterns will come back to visit us and we get to grow through those moments even more.

We will go at your pace, you will never have to face something you're not ready for.
