I've always been drawn to wood. Its color, its texture, its authenticity. Trees nourish us in their life and inspire us in their death. The essence of a tree is ever present and brings power and splendor to the artwork we create from it. From the Giant sequoias of California to the saplings in my own backyard, trees have been an ever present force in my life. It was only natural then that in my quest to create the ultimate hanger and add more art and beauty to my home I would turn to wood first. 

My love of beauty has been with me since the beginning. But my love of design was stimulated during the time I worked in the automotive industry, specifically at Lucid Motors. I was the Supply Chain Manager responsible for interior and exterior trim and the attention to detail and thoughtfulness that went into making the Lucid Air beautiful was inspiring. It was then that I started working on my own designs. I make my own clothes, my own furniture, my own decor and storage solutions. 

It took many years of tinkering and making before I finally decided to go full time in my art and design business. And I needed to tackle the one thing that was frustrating me the most at the time: hangers. It seems like a simple and inconsequential problem, but the bumps in my clothes bothered me every day. I was sick of it. So I set out to design the most beautiful and most functional hanger in the world.
