Materials
The hangers are carved from a solid piece of rubberwood. Rubberwood is a plentiful sustainable material that is readily available due to harvesting spent rubber trees.
After a rubber tree has finished producing latex, it is cut down to make more room for new plantings. Previously, rubber trees would be cut down and burned in the field releasing CO2 into the atmosphere. But the wood has gained popularity in recent years and by using this wood we are preventing pollution and providing you with a beautiful product.
